I have two blogs. This one, and ArmageddonOnToast.com, which is my “author blog” (required by my publisher).

In this blog, I post things that are pertinent to the story Mission Veritas: things about characters, back story, and so on. Sometimes I’ll borrow posts from my other blog that are related, such as about space travel.

Sign up for the “Free Stuff” and you’ll get links whenever I post something new and when I upload illustrations and wallpapers related to the story.

I hope you have opportunity to enjoy both. I invite your comments on the blog topics and critique of the story, good or bad.

Now, Luke, How Much Does Air Weigh?

Air weighs… nothing! Or so you might think. Actually, air weighs a lot. But we don’t think in those terms because it’s all around us and doesn’t seem to weigh anything at all. If it did, it would fall to the ground, no? Well, it kind of does....

“Turf & Surf” Propulsion

As a science fiction author, I deliberate on matters dealing with heroes and villains chasing one another through the universe. The scale of  such distances is so vast that authors  side-step the issue and readers just go with it. However, I’ve often speculated...

Ooh Rah!

You may or may not know, but I was a Marine.  My oldest son is currently a Marine officer and last weekend, my wife and I went down to Camp Pendleton to watch him deploy.  With that as background, it probably makes some sense that I write military science fiction....

Alien Impact on Human Existence – Carthenogen Rise to Power

My name is Vulgus. I have a cache of mid-twenty-first century computers that had been powered off and stored before the Global Alliance swept the World Net clean of independent human writings about Carthenogens. I have salvaged millions of documents exposing the debate over Carthenogen influence. Here is the best summary I found from a database called Omniscience commonly used during the times before complete Carthenogen control.
